This week, let’s talk about plant-based eating.
On this brief video, I discuss the benefits of adding more plants—fruits, vegetables, beans, peas, lentils, whole grains, nuts and seeds—to your diet.
There are countless benefits to adding more plant-based foods to your diet including reducing your risk for heart disease, cancer, and diabetes; improving gut health; and even losing some weight.
It’s also not an all-or-nothing proposition and it’s certainly OK to start incorporating more plants to your diet one meal at a time.
