Hello,
Do you run out of ideas for healthy and quick breakfasts you can enjoy on a busy morning? I contributed to 30 Healthy Breakfast Ideas To Fuel Your Morning in Eat This, Not That! and offered up, along with other experts, healthy breakfast ideas which will keep you satisfied. We offer 30 suggestions, so we’ve got lots of choices. As a nutritionist working with busy individuals, I have found that it’s helpful to start your day with a balanced breakfast which includes protein, fiber, and healthy fat to keep you feeling satisfied.
I shared one of of my favorites: Oatmeal with Peanut Butter and Banana. As I tell Eat This, Not That!, “Oatmeal is a great healthy breakfast idea as it is highly nutritious, satiating, and extremely filling due to its rich fiber content,” says Lisa Young, PhD, RDN. “Moreover, oatmeal contains a specific type of insoluble fiber called beta glucan, which can lower one’s blood glucose levels as well as reduce one’s risk of developing heart disease or diabetes.” Young suggests “Pairing your oatmeal with some berries and a banana and top it with a nut butter for some healthy fats.”
Other healthy breakfasts include omelets, frittatas, overnight oats, and a quinoa breakfast bowl.
