Hello,
Should You Avoid Carbs? Are Carbs Fattening? Let’s Set the Record Straight!
Carbohydrates, often referred to as carbs, have become one of the most debated topics in the world of nutrition. If you’ve been on social media lately, you’ve probably seen posts claiming that cutting out carbs is the secret to weight loss and better health. But is it really that simple?
Spoiler alert: It’s not.
I’ve created a short video to help clear up the confusion surrounding carbohydrates. In it, I’ll explain why carbs are not the enemy, how they fit into a balanced diet, and what types of carbs you might want to prioritize.
Carbs have been unfairly blamed for weight gain and a host of other health issues. While it’s true that certain types of carbs—like refined sugars and overly processed foods—can contribute to health problems when eaten in excess, the story doesn’t end there. Not all carbs are created equal, and many are essential for energy, brain function, and overall well-being.
Carbs are an important part of a balanced diet. The key is understanding which ones to choose and how to enjoy them in appropriate portions. This video will give you the tools you need to do just that.
