I’m a big fan of the Mediterranean diet. The Mediterranean diet is considered one of the healthiest eating plans. It stresses eating a diet rich in whole foods which are unprocessed. These include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and legumes, as well as fish with red meat being eaten sparingly. I was glad to chat with US News & World Report writer Ruben Castaneda about healthy snacks you can enjoy on this eating plan.
