Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
Remove the kale leaves from the stalk and tear into small pieces.
Rinse the kales leaves and dry them well.
Place kale into a large mixing bowl and drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil (or avocado oil.)
Massage the kale by using your hands to work the olive oil into the kale leaves.
Add the dry ingredients (your choice of salt, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, cumin powder) to the kale, stir, and distribute evenly.
Spread the kale in a single layer onto 1-2 baking sheets.
Bake the kale for 15 minutes, then rotate the baking sheet and lightly toss the kale with tongs to ensure even baking. Bake the kale for an additional 10 minutes, or until the kale is crispy and slight golden brown. (Note: cooking time may vary depending on oven.)
Let the kale cool completely on the baking sheet.
Remove the kale chips from the baking sheet. (Yield: approx. 4 cups kale chips)
Enjoy a scrumptious and healthy snack. Put extras in a container with a loose-fitting lid and store it for 2-3 days.
