It’s nearly impossible to discuss health without bringing up your gut. Your gut, which is known as your GI or digestive tract contains microorganisms that are associated with a variety of aspects of health including immune health, brain health, mood, and even heart health.
When visiting social media sites, it’s hard to miss posts about healing your gut. But what does that even mean, can you really “heal your gut, ” — and is it even necessary?
I’ve recently contributed to several articles on gut health ranging from “healing your gut” and overcoming bloating to the best eating habits for your gut. I share them below.
I hope you find them useful.
** How to Heal Your Gut — and What That Really Means
** The Best Eating Habits For Your Gut Health, Say Dietitians
** Why Am I So Gassy? This Is What Your Body Could Be Telling You
And you may find this handy “cheat sheet” of gut-friendly foods helpful.
Have a healthy week!
Warmly,
Lisa
