Hello,

With Passover just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to whip up a treat that’s festive, flavorful, and good-for-you too. This Chocolate Matzah Date Bark is a sweet, satisfying snack or dessert that’s so delicious, you’ll want to make it all year long—whether or not you celebrate the holiday. Made with just a handful of wholesome ingredients like Medjool dates, almond butter, and dark chocolate, it comes together in minutes and delivers on taste, texture, and nutrition. Great for sharing with family and friends, or savoring solo when you need a little pick-me-up!

This video is a step-by-step guide showing how to make this yummy treat.

Ingredients:

  1. 9 Medjool dates
  2. 1 square matzah
  3. 1/3 cup almond butter
  4. 1/3 cup melted dark chocolate chips
  5. Topping of choice (try flaky salt, crushed nuts, or coconut!)

Directions:

  1. Slice dates and remove pits
  2. Arrange dates in a square on parchment paper
  3. Cover with another parchment sheet and roll flat
  4. Press matzah onto the dates, then flip
  5. Microwave almond butter for ~20 seconds to soften
  6. Spread almond butter over dates, then drizzle melted chocolate
  7. Add your favorite toppings
  8. Freeze until hardened, slice into 9 pieces, and enjoy!

Health Benefits:
Dates are naturally sweet and rich in fiber for digestive health, almond butter adds protein and healthy fats to keep you satisfied, and dark chocolate contains antioxidants. A fun way to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Enjoy!

Have a healthy week. Happy Passover to all who celebrate.

Warmly,

Lisa
